Preferred Characteristics
 
   There are 3 main rules for the candidates who wish to study to follow.
       (1) No harm should come to patients,
       (2) no harm should come to candidates who apply to study in courses of Doctor of Medicine/Doctor of Dental Surgery, and
       (3) in order to eliminate obstacles for study, practice, and operate courses in medicine/dental surgery, the candidates must
            have the following characteristics:
 
Must be able to work in public sector or other public units. After graduated, candidates must create a single contract or
open contract with the government according to the regulations between the government and the university.
Must be in good health and free from disease, symptom or other disabilities which might be an obstacle for study, practice,
and operate courses in medicine/dental surgery as followed:
       Severe psychological problems that might cause harm to self and/or others such as Psychotic Disorders, Mood
Disorders, Personality Disorders type Antisocial Personality Disorders or Borderline Personality Disorders, and other
psychological problems which will be an obstacle to study, practice, and operate course in medicine/dental surgery.
       Contagious diseases that might cause harm to self and others or may cause permanent disability which might be
obstacles to study, practice, and operate course in medicine/dental surgery.
       Non-contagious diseases or other statuses which might be obstacles to study, practice, and operate course in
medicine/dental surgery and patients.
       Physical disability that will be an obstacle to study, practice, and operate course in medicine/dental surgery.
       Disability of hearing on both sides with hearing level 500-2,000 hertz, higher than 40 decibels, speech discrimination
score less than 70 from nerve abnormality, and sensorineural hearing loss which will be an obstacle to study, practice, and
operate course in medicine/dental surgery.
        Disability of vision and medical judges deemed that such condition will be an obstacle to study, practice, and operate
course in medicine/dental surgery, which, after readjustment of good eye side with eye glasses, is lower than 6/12 or 20/40.
        Other undescribed diseases or disabilities and medical judges of the faculty deemed that such condition will be
an obstacle to study, practice, and operate course in medicine/dental surgery.
      * Health issue in Section 5.2 will depend on judges' decision and the result will be final.
